The Eyeworks brand new reality format The Trash Hotel follows a motley crew of skilled workmen, an interior decorator, a general contractor and a trash designer as they attempt to take a beat-up hotel from rags to riches using nothing but trash. The members of the team have to find their building material and resources in different spots e.g. a junkyard, recycling centres or during private household liquidations. In the end it remains to be seen if their hard work meets the hotel owner’s imagination of the perfect place to sleep. Will the guests feel comfortable or was everything in vain?
