Ticket to the Tribes
Three western families give up their luxurious lives to spend several weeks with the most primitive tribes in Africa, Asia or South America. Far away from running water, electricity, television, internet and shopping malls, they are slowly transformed into members of the tribe. Fathers share the duties of the fathers from the jungle, mothers perform the tasks the women do and the children hang out with the jungle kids.
The families are put to the challenge: can you go completely back to basics? Can you eat as they eat, wear what they wear and hunt and kill (animals) like they do? Can you become one with the tribe? The chief monitors the transformation and finally decides whether or not the families are worthy tribe members. Then, the inauguration ceremony commences. An unique series about building mutual respect and friendship.
