Weeks before broadcasting, the viewer is asked to visit the website of THE 10... where shortlists on different themes are presented. Here, the viewer votes for his favourites and with these votes, the ultimate Top 10 is created.

In the weekly show, presented from a simple studio set, the host counts down from number 10 to number 1. The stories about the people in the Top 10 are illustrated with lots of footage, and some are visited by the host of the show.
