Sveriges Smartaste Barn bygger på ett internationellt format där 11- och 12-åringar möts i en stenhård kunskapstävling. De tävlar om att bli sitt lands allra smartaste barn. Det gäller att vara snabbtänkt, allmänbildad och att ha iskalla tävlingsnerver. Programmet har sänts i 14 länder och den svenska versionen börjar sändas den 22:a april på TV3. Eyeworks Stockholm producerar och programmet spelas in i Eyeworks Studios i Göteborg.
