Flikken
The successful drama tv-series Flikken follows the life and work of the police force in the Belgian city of Ghent. The officers deliver a daily battle against small crime in the city. Not only in Belgium (VRT), but also in the Netherlands (Tros) the program is a huge success. Apart from impressive ratings and similar public response, the series is also valued extremely high by viewers in Dutch TV research.

The series was originally built around the adventures of two female officers, Britt (Andrea Croonenberghs) and Tony (Joke Devynck). Over the years it has evolved to a ensemble cast in which the renewal and flow of characters has proven to be a success factor.
After eight seasons the series is more popular than ever before. In the summer of 2007 season 9 is in production and the 10th season is already being prepared.
The events in the series take place in the historical town centre and the surrounding suburbs of Ghent. The sparkling city of Ghent provides a perfect setting for the series: apart from good looks the dynamics of modern city life offer an interesting environment for MMG to produce the series in.
