Eyeworks ventures into exploitation of interactive platforms
Monday, March the 15th Danish Broadcaster TV 2 ZULU aired the first episode of Eyeworks Denmarks’ original new Comedy Reality format “Celebrity Cattle Race” (Kvæg ræs).
Eyeworks has installed Erwin Provoost as CEO of Eyeworks Belgium as of today. Provoost was already in charge of Eyeworks Film & TV Drama (previously: MMG). He will be replacing Jan Huyse, who leaves the company after six years. Together with Peter Bouckaert (MD Film & TV Drama), Steven Vlassenroot (Program Director Entertainment), Guido Dekeyser (Director of Productions Film & TV Drama), Wannes Vanderstukken (Director of Productions Entertainment) and Kathleen Mertens (CFO) Provoost will be part of the companies management.
Amsterdam / Los Angeles (March 16, 2010) – Dorothy Crompton has joined Eyeworks Distribution as Senior Vice President of International Sales, it was announced today by Reinout Oerlemans, CEO of Eyeworks.
Eyeworks will exclusively produce an international documentary with Jasper Schuringa, the hero of flight 253. Schuringa, a 32 year old filmmaker from Amsterdam, overpowered a Nigerian terrorist on board an Amsterdam Detroit flight on Christmas day, preventing the plane, with 290 people on board, from being blown up.
International doors are opening for A WOMAN GOES TO THE DOCTOR. Among the interested parties for the worldwide rights of the film was also the renowned Goldcrest Films International. We are honored to announce that Goldcrest will be the Sales Agent for the international exploitation of A WOMAN GOES TO THE DOCTOR.
