Eyeworks Film & TV Drama is a highly respected film and drama production company. Proven successful drama series include Van Speijk and Koppels. In 2007, together with our Belgian affiliate, an original Dutch version of the Belgian success series Cops (Flikken) started with great success in The Netherlands. With already more than 40 produced episodes, Cops Maastricht (Flikken Maastricht) averages a market share of 22%.
We have also established an impressive track record as a producer of successful feature films. Highlights include Eric in the land of Insects (Erik of het Klein Insectenboek), Bluebird, Nynke, Polleke, Don, Johan, Oscar-winning Antonia’s Line (Antonia), Duska and The Letter for the King (De Brief voor de Koning). Most recently, In 2009, CEO Reinout Oerlemans made his directorial debut with the film Komt een Vrouw bij de Dokter. With more than 1.000.000 visitors, it’s the most successful Dutch movie of the year. The release of 2010 is The Happy Housewive (De Gelukkige Huisvrouw), after the famous Dutch book by Heleen van Royen.
