New Kids Nitro with live interpreter

19 January 2012
New Kids Nitro with live interpreter

On the 27e of January a special screening of the Eyeworks movie New Kids Nitro takes place.

The movie will be shown with a live interpreter present to translate the movie for the deaf and hard of hearing. To realise this special event, a group of interpreters had to come up with new words for the typical New Kids statements that made them famous in the Netherlands like "Koekwous", ˜BAM jonguh", ˜Verrekte mongol" and "Godnondeju!". These words didn't exist in sign language yet so they had to come up with new words and sign language combinations. Tickets are available at Pathé cinema.

About NEW KIDS NITRO
NEW KIDS NITRO is an absurdly funny comedy. In the film, Friesland is stricken by a zombie plague, but in Maaskantje the boys, Richard, Rikkert, Gerrie, Robbie and Barrie, have other issues on their mind. They are at war with the nearby town, Schijndel. This leads to illegal street races and massive fights. When the zombies' first originated victim is from Brabant, the two groups join forces to face the greater evil. ˜Buckle up cunt, Nitro goes totally crazy!"

Since the release on December 6 the film has attracted over 480.000 visitors to the Dutch theaters, with this the film achieved the platinum film status.
NEW KIDS NITRO is commissioned by the investmentfund New Kids Nitro by Eyeworks Film & TV Drama (Love Life, The Happy Housewife, Chubby Drums, New Kids Turbo and Nova Zembla) in corporation with Inspire Pictures, Comedy Central, Bridge Entertainment Group and Tip of the Blanket.
