Mark Werner New Headwriter at Eyeworks Germany

Eyeworks Germany is pleased to welcome Mark Werner as new headwriter and producer in the creative department of Eyeworks Fiction & Film beginning 1st of April 2012.
Previously, Mark Werner (43) was headwriter and creative producer at Brainpool. For over a decade before that, Werner worked as author and headwriter for Sony Pictures, developing scripts for successful television series such as "My life and I", "Rita’s World", "All Atze" and "Nikola".
Werner was repeatedly nominated for the German TV Award and the German Comedy Award and was awarded the German TV Award. His latest TV movie for broadcaster ZDF, the comedy "The Big Comeback", is currently nominated for the Grimme Award.
Mark Werner is the author of several novels and non-fiction books. His latest novel “Crumple zone” was released in the fall of 2011.
Werner studied German philology and history, and upon graduation worked as a journalist and editor-in-chief.
Starting the 1st of April 2012, Mark Werner will join the Eyeworks Germany creative team and work closely with Rene Jamm, Creative Director Fiction & Entertainment, and Sabine de Mardt, Director of Fiction & Film.
